This year’s 20th Book Fair on Sunday in Pula presented literary award Cyclops for 2014 in eleven categories. Cyclops for scientific publishers and scientific-popular book of the year went to Stipe Bozic for the book “K2-triumph and tragedy” published by VBZ. The author of the statue Cyclops Pula is ceramist and sculptor Marina Orlic, and the Board Kiklop Award consists of a president Bruno Kragić, vice president Nives Tomasevic and members Natasa Medved, Irena Milicic, Emica Kalogjera Rogić and Dragan Vujatović.
Otherwise, as part of this year’s Book Fair in eleven days of the fair from 4th December to today held a record 117 various events which were attended by 350 local and foreign authors. The fair is presented by more than 15,000 titles that has introduced 250 Croatian and foreign publishers, and apart from the usual up, the audience is every day found heartening and Happy Hour with additional discounts.
